Terms and Conditions

Reservation Guarantee

All reservations must be sent in writing via email to info@guidemearoundcr.com and must have the corresponding confirmation from our staff. The same applies to modifications. We are only responsible for properly confirmed reservations. Services that require PREPAYMENT are only guaranteed upon receipt of the voucher at least 24 hours prior to the service.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be sent in writing via email to info@guidemearoundcr.com and must have a corresponding cancellation confirmation from our staff. Any cancellation made more than 3 days in advance will not be penalized, except for reservations that have required payments to third parties due to the specific operation of the canceled tour. In this case, the detailed amount plus 20% for administrative charges will be applied. Any reservation canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice before the event will be charged 100%. We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if the reservation is canceled 48 hours or less before the event. Any group cancellation made less than 1 week in advance will be charged 100%. A NO SHOW applies to 100% of the charge. Our guides or drivers will wait for 5 minutes at the agreed or indicated location. In case of not showing up at the agreed time, it is considered a NO SHOW and will be penalized by 100%. Any modification or cancellation less than the departure time will be penalized by 100%.

General Policies

GuideMe Around CR is only responsible for reservations that have been properly confirmed by our staff. Services that require prepayment are only guaranteed upon receipt of the same at least 24 hours before the service.

Groups

The group rate and policies apply to groups of 8 or more people. An additional $7 per person will be charged.

Private Tours

Half-day tours are available for 2-7 pax.

Nationals

For tours by authorized providers, the regular foreigner rate applies if there is no defined rate by the provider. A discount of % applies to nationals, minimum 2 people

Additional Notes

Rates are subject to change depending on changes in monetary policies applied by the Central Bank of Costa Rica, changes in supplier rates, or changes in Value Added Tax collection by the corresponding entity. The exchange rate is subject to and is valid on the day of payment according to the Central Bank of Costa Rica
