What Is the Sloth Tour?

The Sloth Tour is a trained-eye search for wild sloths in their natural habitat, guided personally by one of our naturalist guides. Unlike a scripted wildlife show, this is a real search — guides know where sloths tend to rest and move slowly through the canopy, using binoculars and years of local experience to help you spot them.

Three daily departures — 7:30 AM, 2:30 PM, and 5:30 PM — cover different points in the sloths' activity cycle, so there's a good option no matter your schedule. The same forest also delivers iguanas, monkeys, poison dart frogs, and birds along the way.
